David Cather was elected a non-executive director of Galantas Gold Corporation on June 27, 2019. He is an experienced mining engineer with over 40 years of mining experience. He has held CEO roles in Avocet Mining, the Abu Dhabi Capital Group Mining Division and was Chief Operating Officer for European Goldfields.  He was a member of a London-based boutique fund management team and held various positions with Anglo American plc. Mr. Cather has participated in numerous acquisitions and IPOs of mining companies on various stock exchanges and has significant expertise in mine development. He is currently Independent Director of AK Altynalmas JSC, a Kazakhstan emerging mid-tier gold producer and formerly Chairman of Metals Exploration PLC, a London-listed Philippines gold producer and Tungsten West plc, now NED on both boards.

Mario Stifano is a seasoned mining executive and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of experience working with exploration, development and producing mining companies. He has held a number of senior executive positions, including Executive Chairman of Doré Copper Mining Corp., Chief Executive Officer of Cordoba Minerals Corp., Executive Chairman with Mega Precious Metals Inc., Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Lake Shore Gold Corp Inc., and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ivernia Inc.

James Clancy graduated with a honours B.Comm from the University of Toronto in 1970. He achieved his CA designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1972. During the majority of his career he has held executive positions (controller, CFO and general manager) with companies in the construction industry in Canada, the U.S. and internationally. For the past seven years, he has operated his own consulting firm specialising in offering financial expertise to the construction industry.

Brent Omland is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience in the mining, metals and trading sectors. He has held roles with Ivernia Inc., Enirgi Metals Group and Teck. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Partners.
